Introducing Dr. Stewart

Dr. Christopher Stewart is a plastic surgeon and hand surgeon based in Dallas, Texas.

A Dallas native, Dr. Stewart graduated from J.J. Pearce in Richardson and began his academic journey at Texas A&M University. There he attended Mays Business School and was selected for the reciprocal exchange program at the prestigious Vienna University of Economics and Business (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien). He graduated from Texas A&M with his degree in Finance.
 
He then pursued his medical degree at the University of Texas in Houston (now McGovern Medical School). There, his passion for surgery, and specifically reconstruction, led him to plastic surgery. He matched his first choice, a renowned plastic surgery program and one of the top programs in the nation, Emory University. Dr. Stewart received several accolades, including the Academic Achievement Award, the  Teaching Award, and the honor of being selected as the Administrative Chief Resident for his final year.
 
Following his residency, Dr. Stewart further specialized by completing a combined orthopedic hand and microsurgery surgery fellowship at UCLA. This advanced training allows him to address a wide range of hand and wrist problems from thumb and finger arthritis, nerve compression syndromes, hand, wrist and forearm fractures to aesthetic hand rejuvenation.
 
Dr. Stewart is also an active contributor to the medical community. (Doximity 2021- top 10% most published; Doximity 2022 and 2023- top 10% most cited clinicians). He has published numerous peer reviewed scientific articles, authored book chapters, and delivered lectures and presentations at state, regional, and national plastic surgery and hand surgery meetings.
 

In his plastic surgery practice, Dr. Stewart performs both aesthetic and reconstructive procedures. He has a special interest in rhinoplasty, facelift, abdominoplasty, breast augmentation, and breast reconstruction. His comprehensive training and meticulous surgical approach enable him to deliver exceptional care and results to his patients with a specific emphasis on patient safety.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Stewart is an avid runner and cyclist who enjoys the outdoors. When not taking care of patients he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, family and is active in his church community.
